Japanese Village Plaza Mall. Pretty cool strip of Japanese places. This is about 4 blocks away from Sushi Gen. So far the only amazing place to eat here is the Shabbu Shabbu place. Shabbu Shabbu means “swish swish” you get thin raw cuts of beef and swish them in a boiling pot of water for about 10-15 seconds, dip it in sauce and then eat it over rice. Also it comes with a bunch of vegetables and noodles that you put in the pot and let cook for a few minutes. If you want to check that place out, it opens at 5pm as well and it gets extremely busy, sometimes there is an hour wait.
