Sushi Gen was the best sushi I’ve ever had in my life. Rumor has it that the owner has a strong 20 year relationship with the fish market in his area, so he gets the absolute best cuts. I’m not sure if that’s true but after having a big Omakase meal there, I wouldn’t doubt it. Everything was amazing, we had Oysters topped with Uni, Fire Squid Sushi, Monkfish Liver. It just beat all of the top places I’ve been to in LA & NYC. I can’t do a piece by piece review because it wasn’t really the setting to snap pic after pic.
